The US DVD release date for Resident Evil: Extinction has officially been set as 1st January 2008.

The disc will have anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a filmmaker commentary, four making of featurettes (Alice Vision: Preproduction, The Big Bang: Shooting Resident Evil: Extinction, Bigger, Faster, Stronger: The Undead Evolve, and Vegas Visual Effects: Miniatures), deleted scenes, and a sneak peak at Resident Evil: Degeneration, the first Resident Evil CGI feature film.
