It’s been a while since Daniel Craig signed the contract that will probably change the course of his career, to star as Bond...James Bond in Casino Royale. And now the first footage that we've all been desperate to see has been released,in the shape of the first teaser trailer on the official site.
The trailer is only made up of principal photography and location shots, as the filming in Pinewood Studios hasn’t yet begun, but its full of high-octane action and unbelievable stunts in lavish locations around the world.
One shot that will stick in your mind is Bond diving onto a high tower crane just grasping the steel structure, a scene that will certainly have viewers
on the edge of their seats come 17th November.
One things for certain, the teaser will not dash your hopes, in fact it may even heighten them, that Casino Royale will be a fantastic Bond film. From the black and white opening shots its clear this film is darker than previous Bond's and it's obvious that the producers have kept to their promise to stay a lot closer to Ian Fleming’s original character.
Daniel Craig is rugged, and excudes charm, the quintessential Bond, performing many of his own stunts, one scene of which involves him chasing free runner extraordinaire, Sebastian Foucan, through dangerous jumping and diving, superb!
The trailer can be found at the Casino Royale official site at
www.sonypictures.com/movies/casinoroyale/index.html. If you haven't already clicked over there, do so now, you won't be disappointed!
