The UK release date for Song For a Raggy Boy has been set as 17th July.
Metrodome will release the disc at a RRP of £15.99.
Based on a true story, Song for a Raggy Boy is the story of one man's courage to stand up and fight against the tough fascist regime in a boys Irish Reformatory School in 1939. Featuring Aidan Quinn, Ian Glen and Marc Warren, the film stands alongside Dead Poet's Society and Peter Mullan's The Magdelene Sisters, as a tremendously emotional account of humanity's clash with religion.
Song For A Raggy Boy is a moving period piece brought to life by the fine performances of Aiden Quinn and Iain Glen, a film that questions whether hope can hope to flourish in even the most difficult of circumstances.
