Warner Home Video have revealed they will release Gloomy Sunday on DVD in the US on 12th September 2006 at $19.97 SRP.

As the turmoil of World War II engulfs Hungary, a Budapest eatery, Restaurant Szabo, hosts its own conflicts. Its restaurant owner, Laszlo, hires pianist Andras, and both men love Ilona, which is further complicated when their regular customer Hans, an SS colonel, begins to pursue Ilona's affections.

Gloomy Sunday is presented on DVD in 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with German DD5.1 Surround and optional English, French and Spanish subtitles.

No word on any extras.
