Headline: Another star joins Hairspray

17-year-old Nicole Blonsky will play Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. The stage star joins John Travolta, Queen Latifah and Amanda Bynes in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, directed by Adam Shankman and produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. Brittany Snow is in negotiations for the Amber role.
