The much talked about I am Legend has finally secured a filming slot!

Director Francis Lawrence will helm the Will Smith starring epic this summer with a 2007 release already being pencilled in. 4th July anyone?

Smith will film this one right after he finishes Tonight, He Comes this summer.

Warner Bros. are on board to distribute, but are looking for a partner to share the massive cost of this, with their usual partner Village Roadshow thought to be at the head of the queue.
