10th July will see the UK Region 2 DVD release of 'A Cock And Bull Story' from Lionsgate!

The Movie, directed by Michael Winterbottom & starring Steve Coogan & Rob Brydon, could loosely be called an adaptation of the 18th Century Novel 'The Life And Opinions of Tristram Shandy' by Laurence Sterne. The book is considered a literary masterpiece, and has also been considered completely unfilmable.

The filmmakers tackled this difficulty by breaking with convention (which is in keeping with the spirit of the book) in choosing to make the film more about the making of the film. Chronicling the process rather than transferring the novel to celluloid as per a normal adaptation.

Whatever it is they've done, it has been hailed as a hilarious comedy!
