Batman takes on several scary and vicious villains.
Batman: Gotham Knight is a straight to DVD compilation of six short stories of Batman from a collection of diverse creators including David S. Goyer and Josh Olsen. Despite being a six segmented collection of videos, the DVD is meant to be viewed as and is told in one concise plot line.
Batman Gotham Knight explores the transition from tormented vigilantee of Bruce Wayne in the film Batman Begins and the Dark Knight of a crumbling Gotham City, haunted by the cast of ghoulish characters that walk its streets. Batman takes on several opponents in this series including the fearsome, psychotropic drug spraying Scarecrow, the freakish Killer Croc and the unerring sharp shooter, Deadshot. In this film, the viewer watches as Batman struggles with his own demons while he hones his skills, fine tunes his devices with the help of butler/engineer Alfred, and battles some of the most nefarious of villains possible.
Viewers should not be fooled by the fact that Batman Gotham Knight is an animated film, the subject matter is incredibly dark and the scary. It hs been rated PG-13 for a reason.
