The Warrior (2002) Synopsis:

The Warrior is the debut film from Asif Kapadia, winner of the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Set in feudal India, the film is a sweeping mythical adventure story about a lone warrior who renounces his violent role as the longtime enforcer to a local lord - only to be murderously pursued into the Himalayan mountains by the lord, who refuses to accept his departure.
