Synopsis
There is a pocket of North London where the only law is that of Mr Karva: a huge, bullying thug whose empire seems to incorporate every down-and-dirty transaction in the street. Karva's stepson, Othello, nurtures dreams of taking the old man's place - while his loyal lieutenant, Emilio, has ambitions of his own. But then their friend Runner finds a strange, sickly child, abandoned in a nearby park, and takes him in - a decision with far-reaching consequences upon all of their lives.
