Synopsis

Connor Layne (Christopher Masterson) is a recent high school graduate whose life is thrown out of whack when he discovers his fiancée is having an affair with his best friend. After calling off the wedding, he decides to take the honeymoon vacation alone and travels to Nicaragua. After nights of drinking, partying, and being robbed, Connor is set to return to America when he meets Christopher (Johnny Messner) and Darlene (Brook Burns). They invite him on an expedition to clear a pathway to be built into a road across the Darien Gap, an undeveloped jungle that separates Panama and Colombia. Along this expedition, Connor meets Anna (Angelika Barren) with whom he falls in love, but in many ways he gets to know himself better. The expedition changes Connor’s life, thus altering what he felt lied in his future.
