Synopsis

Woman Times Seven (1967) is a collection of seven different stories involving themes of love and adultery, all taking place in Paris. The seven segments are entitled: “Funeral Procession”, Amateur Night”, “Two Against One”, “Super Simone”, “At the Opera”, “The Suicides”, and “Snow”. In the same vein of performers like Alec Guinness in Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) and Peter Sellers in Dr. Strangelove (1964), actress Shirley MacLaine plays seven different roles in this film, each character being the protagonist of its respective short story. While the same themes are prevalent in each short story, each individual story in completely different in plot, duration, and various other elements.
