Headline: Tarantino to star in Takashi Miike flick!

Yes you read that right old QT has signed on to star in a Takashi Miike flick! He'll take a role in Miike's first english spoken flick Sukiyaki Western: Django.

The movie will also star Hideaki Ito, Koichi Sato, Kaori Momoi, Yusuke Iseya and Masanobu Ando who have all had to take English lessons for the script that will be set during the Genpei clan wars of the 12th century, it is being billed as Japan's first true western. The title pays homage to the spaghetti western (or "macaroni western" as they're referred to in Japan) character Franco Nero made famous in the 1960s.
