George Clooney has signed on to star alongside Robert De Niro in Director Marc Forster's remake of the french thriller 36.

The script by Dean Georgaris will remake the Gerard Depardieu and Daniel Auteuil starring flick as detectives heading plain-clothes divisions at Paris police headquarters, centers on the quest to solve a series of armored car robberies with a promotion going to whomever catches the perpetrators.
