Liam Neeson has signed on to star in Taken.

The flick that has been written by Robert Marek Kamen and Luc Besson, will be directed by Pierre Morel.

The flick will follow an ex-soldier travelling in Europe with his daughter. When the girl is kidnapped by slave traders, Dad has to find her before she's shipped off, never to be seen again.

Filming will start in Paris on February 14th.
