Matthew McConaughey has signed on to star in Surfer, Dude.

Now while most of you might think is that a film or his actual life be assured this is not an autobiography of the dude who likes to bongo in the nude!

It will follow a soulful surfer who suffers an existential crisis. Like what, running out of boardwax?

S.R. Bindler will direct from a script he wrote with Cory Van Dyke.
