Headline: Jet Li confirmed for Mummy 3!

The rumour has been bouncing over the net for a week or so now, and finally confirmation comes in that Jet Li will star as the Mummy in Mummy 3!

It's pretty obvious that it won't be the same mummy character as the first two movies. Instead the action will relocate to China in ancient times before moving to a post-World War II setting. It is also known that one sequence involves the famous terra-cotta warriors, the collection of 6,000 men and their horses that were originally constructed to protect the tomb of an emperor.

Rob Cohen has replaced Stephen Sommers at the helm.
