Lionsgate have revealed the details of the UK release of Employee of the Month.
The comedy movie that stars Dane Cook, Jessica Simpson and Dax Shephard will be released by them on the 14th May 2007.
The flick from the producers of The Wedding Crashers follows Vince (Dax Shepard) head cashier and brown-noser at Super Club, a large bulk warehouse store where employees strive to obtain the prestigious "Employee of the Month" award. The award has been won by Vince seventeen consecutive times earning him the right to display his picture in the staff lounge and one more win gains him a brand newish car. Zack (Dane Cook) on the other hand is popular box boy and slacker who has never won any "Employee of the Month" awards and has no desire to. All that is set to change after beautiful new cashier, Amy (Jessica Simpson), transfers from another store and when Zack's Superclub staff pals reveal she only dates the Employee of the Month.
A hilarious battle ensues as Vince and Zack battle to gain Amy’s attention through competition and courtship. Vince attempts to impress Amy with his skills as a cashier and his multitude of "Employee of the Month" awards, while Zack attempts to use several methods of charm and comedy to win her affection.
After realising that Amy is falling for Vince, Zack believes his only chance to get her is to win Super Club's next "Employee of the Month" award, however, the competition is fierce. Can Zack beat Vince and win the ultimate prize?
