Headline: Eddie Murphy to visit Fantasy Island!

Eddie Murphy has signed on to star in a big screen adaptation of the 80's cheesey tv show Fantasy Island.

Columbia Pictures are developing the movie, with Jay Scherick and David Ronn penning the script. This will be their second Murphy flick after their Norbit duties, so if you hated that then I think its safe to say this will be just as naff.

And as with most Murphy flicks he'll be playing multiple roles.
