Maria Bello has signed on to replace Rachel Weisz in The Mummy 3.

She will play the role that Weisz originated of Evelyn Carnahan O'Connell, as the O'Connells and their full-grown son (Ford) to the forbidden tombs of China and the Himalayas, where they battle a shape-shifting mummy, a former Chinese emperor (Li) cursed by a wizard (Yeoh).

Will they change her look at all, will she try and act like she is the same character? Who knows, will anyone even care?
