Sandra Bullock has signed on to star in the Proposal for Touchstone Pictures.

The movie will follow a demanding female boss faced with deportation to Canada who agrees to a sham engagement and marriage with her young male assistant.

Peter Chiarelli has written the script, but a director has yet to board the project that is being produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman
