Mark Wahlberg sets his sights on revenge in this explosive action-thriller, taking aim on DVD from August 13th 2007

Wahlberg stars as Bob Lee Swagger, a former Marine Corps sniper who leaves the military when a mission goes badly. After he is pressed back into service to foil an assassination attempt on the President, Swagger is double-crossed. The subject of a nationwide manhunt, Swagger fights to clear his name and bring the men who framed him to justice.

The film also stars Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon 4) as a deceptive government operative and Michael Pena (World Trade Center) as a junior FBI agent caught in the crossfire between Swagger and his targets.

SHOOTER is fully loaded with an arsenal of special features including a feature-length commentary with director Antoine Fuqua, “Survival of the Fittest: The Making of "SHOOTER”, deleted scenes and "Independence Hall" which immerses audiences in the history of America and includes a guided tour of the actual Independence Hall in Philadelphia, where the US Declaration of Independence was signed.
