Kate Beckinsale looks to have been signed up to star in Nothing but the Truth.

The flick will be directed by Rod Lurie, based on his own script, that will follow a Washington D.C.-based female newspaper reporter who outs a CIA agent and is imprisoned for refusing to reveal her source.

She will play the journalist, Matt Dillon the prosecutor, Vera Farmiga the CIA agent, Edie Falco the editor of the newspaper that published the story and Alan Alda the attorney who tries to free the reporter from jail.

Yari Film Group will produce the flick.
