Headline: Focus snaps up Coraline!

Focus Features have snapped up the distribution rights for the big screen version of the Neil Gaiman novel Coraline. The movie being produced by Laika Entertainment has been written by Henry Selick, who will co-direct with Mike Cachuela. Dakota Fanning will take the lead voice as Coraline a young girl who walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life.
