Headline: Is Zachary Quinto the new Spock?

Rumours are flying over the net that Spock has been cast in J.J. Abrams remake/reboot of the Star Trek series.

And the word is that Heroes star Zachary Quinto has landed the gig.

This ties in with Matt Damon shooting down the rumour that he was up for James T. Kirk by revealing that Abrams is casting Trek much younger, with Quinto being seven years younger than Matt.

This hasn't been confirmed yet, but seeing as how J.J. Abrams will be at Comic-Con as well as Zachary Quinto this weekend then chances are it could be on.
