Headline: Ryan Reynolds proposes to Sandra Bullock!

Ok, the headline is just an attention grabber I know, but the word today is that Ryan Reynolds has signed on to star alongside Sandra Bullock IN THE Proposal.

The story follows a demanding female boss (Bullock) who suddenly faces deportation to Canada. She makes a deal with her young male assistant (Reynolds) to agree to a sham engagement and marriage.

Peter Chiarelli has written the script, but no word on who will direct the flick which already has a release date of 13th February 2009 pencilled in by Touchstone Pictures.
