Jake Gyllenhaal has signed on to star in Director Doug Liman's next project.

The movie will revolve around a private expedition to the moon and the race for lunar colonization. The project is still untitled.

The script has been written by Liman, with John Hamburg, but is currently being rewritten by Mark Bowden.

Dreamworks are distributing.
