Zooey Deschanel has signed on to star alongside Jim Carrey in Yes Man.

The movie will be based on Danny Wallace's book that follows a man (Carrey) who decides to change his life by saying yes to everything that comes his way, leading him on a series of unexpected comedic adventures that turn his life upside down. Deschanel plays the romantic female lead, a woman Carrey meets on his journeys.

Peyton Reed will direct with David Heyman and Richard Zanuck producing.
