Headline: Wan gets a Death Sentence!

Saw Director James Wan has signed on to helm Death Sentence for Hyde Park Entertainment.

The script will follow a father out for revenge after his family is attacked in a senseless and heinous gang-initiation crime. The father enacts a death sentence on each perpetrator involved with the crime, and has been written by Ian Jeffers, based on the book by Brian Garfield (who also created the Death Wish books).

20th Century Fox will distribute the movie.
