Gerard Butler is to star in Law Abiding Citizen.

The film will mark his producing debut, as he will produce the flick through his new production co. Evil Twins with his manager Alan Siegel.

The script by Kurt Wimmer will follow Butler as a a successful assistant D.A. who finds himself at the center of a vigilante plot hatched by a traumatized victim of the legal system.
