Headline: Is McAvoy The Hobbit?

Yes thats the rumour sweeping the internet today.

OK Guillermo del Toro has already said he and Peter Jackson have both pretty much chosen who they want to be Bilbo as a younger Hobbit, but they are a long way from actually casting the person, and even then announcing it.

But, it kind of makes a lot of sense for it to be McAvoy, he kind of looks a bit like a young Ian Holm, he's british, he's not particulary huge, he can carry a film and boy he can act.

Only time will tell, but certainly a step in the right direction methinks if, and we can but hope, its true!
