Adam Sussman has had his spec script Anvil picked up by producer Peter Safran and Gold Circle Films who already have Daniel Calparsoro onboard to direct. The story is described as a character-driven horror-thriller that centers on a young woman who stumbles into a remote Kansas town while on a road trip with her friends only to discover the locals are not what they seem and that she harbors a supernatural destiny.
