With the guaranteed success of The Da Vinci Code Sony Pictures have already got Akiva Goldsman working on an adaptation of Dan Brown’s Angels & Demons which first introduced the character of Robert Langdon. Brian Grazer and John Calley are likely to return as producers but no word on Ron Howard or Tom Hanks. In the book Langdon tries to solve a murder and unravel a plot by an ancient group, the Illuminati, to blow up the Vatican during a papal conclave.
