Bridget Jones herself Renée Zellweger is to star in the horror Case 39 to be directed by Christian Alvart. Written by Ray Wright, the story centers on a social worker who saves an abused girl from her parents, but later discovers things are not as they seem. Studio-based Kevin Misher is producing with Steve Golin.
