Headline: The Hitcher gets Bush!

Rising starlet Sophia Bush has been signed up for the lead female role in Rogue Pictures 21st century re-jog of the classic The Hitcher.

The remake, will instead of pitting one character against The Hitcher will instead follow two young travelers who are tormented by a mysterious hitchhiker.

Jake Wade Wall and Eric Brent wrote the script. Production is scheduled to start this June in Austin, Texas.
