Headline: Universal have big plans for Alpha Dog

The Nick Cassavetes-directed film Alpha Dog has moved from distributors New Line over to Universal. Orginially set for a Spring 2006 release Universal plans to open the drama on more than 1,000 screens in the first quarter of 2007. The studio may also release it this December for an Oscar-qualifying run.
