Yeah, sure all Dimension movies tend to be about teens eithe being killed or killing other teens.

But this one will be based on a true story for a change. They have snapped up the movie rights to the book by Mara Leveritt that examines the controversial West Memphis Three Killings. It was an infamous Arkansas murder case that ended with the conviction of three teens based largely on their alleged fascination with the occult, including Anne Rice and Stephen King novels!

Three children were savagely murdered in 1993. Weeks later, police announced the arrest of three teens accused of committing the murders as part of a satanic cult ritual.

Dimension have signed up Scott Derrickson and Paul Harris Boardman to write the script with an eye on Derrickson helming.
