Headline: Zombie to bring Halloween back from dead

Music maestro and House of 1000 Corpses director Rob Zombie has joined forces with Dimension Films to add a new chapter to the Halloween and Michael Myers horror franchise. Zombie is to write, direct, score and produce alongside Andy Gould of Vision Entertainment Group and Malek Akkad of Trancas International Films. Miramax Films will co-finance the development with Dimension Films. An October 2007 release has already been proposed.
