Dakota Fanning, Robin Wright Penn and David Morse are to star in writer/director Deborah Kampmeier’s untitled indie film set in the South in 1961 and revolves around a precocious girl who overcomes the negative effects of abuse by singing and dancing like Elvis. Kampmeier is producing with Kelly Thomas, Raye Dowell and Terry Leonard. Wright Penn is executive producing.
