Headline: The Birds but not as we know it

Platinum Dunes are to make The Birds, not based on Hitchcock’s horror but on the Daphne Du Maurier short story. Producer Brad Fuller has said that the concept of birds attacking people will be the same but the plot will be totally different from Hitchcock’s.
