The Ken Kalfus' short story The Moment They Were Waiting For has been picked up by Universal Pictures for Matthew Ryan Hoge to adapt. John Crowley will direct the story in which a killer is executed, setting in motion a supernatural phenomenon whereby the entire citizenry learns of the date on which they will die. David Heyman is producing via his Heyday Films.
