Headline: Lovejoy uncovers Hot Rod

Our very own Lovejoy Ian McShane has been added to the cast of Hot Rod, speeding its way to screens from Paramount. The project already features Saturday Night Live comedy team the Lonely Island (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer) with Samberg as an accident-prone daredevil who plans to jump Snake River on a moped in an effort to emulate his hero Evel Knievel and win over his hard-to-please stepfather (McShane). Schaffer meanwhile directs the script from Pam Brady and Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn of Michaels Goldwyn are to produce.
