Headline: Allen takes in The Scent of Books

Following romantic/fantasy The Lake House writer/director Alejandro Agresti is to next work on an adaptation of his own novel The Scent of Books and is keen on Woody Allen to star. The story follows three 60 year-old writers who inherit twenty thousand first edition books from their mentor. Allen along with Christopher Plummer would be playing two of the writers with Cillian Murphy and Jason Biggs in negotiations to star as the younger versions of two of the writers.
