Headline: Is Matt Damon James T. Kirk?

Rumours are circulating the net this week that J.J. Abrams has found his lead actor to play Captain James T. Kirk. And it is thought to be Matt Damon. Apparently JJ has eevn spoken to William Shatner to see if he approves of Matt playing the role. Sounds like utter mischief making, but if it does turn out to be true could be a hugely positive change of direction for a franchise that's fliundered thes last few years.
