Headline: Paramount shelves Clancy projects

Paramount has announced delays on its two Tom Clancy adaptations; Without Remorse, which had Joaquin Phoenix attached to star, and Rainbow Six that would have had John Singleton at the helm. The studio is planning to reignite its moderately successful Jack Ryan franchise, the last installment of which had Ben Affleck as the lead in The Sum of All Fears.
