Headline: Monaghan gets Seven Day Itch

Mission: Impossible 3’s Michelle Monaghan will star opposite Ben Stiller in the comedy Seven Day Itch based on The Heartbreak Kid. Peter and Bobby Farrelly will direct Monaghan playing a young woman who causes a honeymooning groom to question his commitment to the woman he hastily married. The film, inspired by the 1972 comedy written by Neil Simon and directed by Elaine May, is being produced by Conundrum Entertainment's Bradley Thomas and Radar's Ted Field. John Davis and Joe Rosenberg are executive producers. Gwyneth Paltrow is rumoured to play Stiller’s psycho bride.
