Headline: McShane takes up Case 39

Deadwood star Ian McShane does get around and has recently been cast to star opposite Renée Zellweger in Case 39. Written by Ray Wright, the story centers on a social worker (Zellweger) who saves an abused girl from her parents but later discovers things are not as they seem. McShane plays the cop who helps Zellweger's character investigate the case. Christian Alvart directs for Paramount Pictures.
