Headline: Trio in talks for Evening

Claire Danes, Vanessa Redgrave and Toni Collette are in talks to feature in Evening, the Focus Features' and writer Michael Cunningham’s screen adaptation of Susan Minot's bestselling novel. Directed by Oscar nominee Lajos Koltai, the movie centers on 65-year-old cancer patient Ann Grant Lord. While her two daughters try to come to terms with her impending death and struggle with their own issues, Lord reflects on a weekend in her youth when she met the love of her life. Redgrave is set to star as Lord, with Danes and Collette co-starring, respectively, as daughters Ann and Nina.
