Natalie Portman will star in Goya’s Ghost but the nude torture scenes will involve a body double. Set in late 18th century Spain, the film follows the trials of the friendship between Francisco Goya, Spain's most famous artist, and the priest Lorenzo who spearheads the revival of the dreaded Inquisition. Portman plays Goya's beautiful model Ines who is unjustly imprisoned and tortured by the Inquisition before being raped by Lorenzo.
