Headline: Atchison signs-up for Weinstein Films

Akeelah and the Bee writer-helmer Doug Atchison will direct his next two films for The Weinstein Company under a new three-picture, first-look deal with the studio. Atchison will write and direct the romantic comedy Outspoken, as well as a World War I-era historical romance called The Last Caravan. The third film is yet to be determined. Lou Pitt serves as producer.
